Rob – what a day – 312 ticks just trading every Type 2 signal (that I’m seeing) with UTBs today.  The last one was Short – entry at 52.82 and out at 51.82. Fun stuff.

Loving the UTB’s and the education that accompanies it on your site. I have to say that you have seriously made me question my trading methodologies. I have been trading for about 10 years now on and off and have never been able to string together consistently profitable periods (much to my frustration) – basically all my trading efforts amount to flat or zero profitability. Sadly, I now believe that I was a victim of the mass market technical analysis propaganda that is so prevalent when one starts out learning to trade (layer upon layer of lagging indicators). Whilst some of the information is no doubt useful in the right context, I feel that your methodologies precede all the mumbo jumbo and are at the core of what makes the markets move, and that is what I want to now practice… GT

I am now officially a UTB and Logik Wand addict. Thanks in large part to the trading tools and education you have shared I have finally turned the corner and have become confident to say that I have an edge in the crude market and am consistently profitable in SIM.

Dude.. I mean all I can say is DUDE! So I spent the week comparing Ensign 987 tick bars vs Ninja 987 tick bars vs UTB 150 everything had Heiken Ashi (of course). I traded today exclusively with the UTBs and it’s the clear winner. Anyway that’s again for the UTB’s… they really rock man. GW [user of UTBs for 5 months]

I wish I would have started with him (Rob) from the beginning, but then again I probably would not have appreciated his knowledge base as I do now.

I’ve found that his tools “teach you” how to trade rather than “show you when” to trade..as an indicator or a trading room would. I like this because ultimately you your instinct rather than rely upon a indicator. The indicators are there to support your intuition, not replace.

That being said,Rob has always been available to answer my questions. He will encourage you to do your research before asking questions…again teaching you how to think.

When you get his program go over the manuals and materials he suggest over and over again, even if it’s difficult to understand. What ever you don’t get, he will make clear. His brain fires pretty fast and you may have to ask him to simplify answers, which he will.

I hope his helps you make a decision. Again, I don’t think you can go wrong here, unless you don’t do the work and study. It’s not an exactly plug-n-play program. But ultimately I believe you can master the CL, or any other contract you choose to trade.

I’m so impressed with the UTBs I can’t even begin to tell you. I’m just lucky that you decided to make them available commercially. They really have improved things for me. And now that I’ve got them I’m able to implement all these ideas that I’ve had into the paint bars indicator…. It’s a bit of an obsession, I will admit. But it seems that each iteration, I make improvements, get in on trades earlier, don’t get taken out so quickly. And all that adds to my weekly P&L…. /W

Rob, thanks for the tools. After using them for a week I am duly impressed. I am finding the combination of the UTB’s and the zStrength indicator has significantly increased my trade efficiency. My entries are much better timed and my exits are also significantly improved. I have gone from a 1.5 to 1 profit to loss ratio to a 4 to 1 ratio this week. Still need to put some more miles on it to see consistency at those numbers but I am very happy with how week 1 has gone. Just wanted to say thanks. Justin

Wow Rob ! You really outdone yourself again and I have been following you for years.

I have UTB and Counter loaded and working now. I put 2 charts side by side, a 1500Tic and the other, a 1500 Ultimate Tic Bar ES Chart and analyzed the two. Big difference, I can actually see more clearly without the random noise, buying or selling pressures are easier shown. For years, whenever all my indicators would give me a ‘go’ signal I often was perplexed how instantly price went against me. This is the missing piece ! It also allows my other indicators to work better as well.
